How do I plan a destination wedding?

When you meet your agent, they will spend most of their time listening to your wedding must-haves and wish list so that they can focus on what you want for you and your guests on your wedding day.

Next step they will match your wants to what's available and also outline the services you'll get when you book. Your agent will help you plan your travel, book your wedding date, time and location then connect you with the resort wedding coordinator to take it from there.

Your agent also acts as liaison between you and the resort for anything you may need help with. "Your agent’s job is to listen, to tailor their clients' needs and to offer suggestions and recommendations that will work within their budget."

After getting to know each other, your agent will then put together a package for you based on your meeting. Usually this package will consist of a list quotes from multiple destinations and resorts that fit your criteria, as well as general information on each destination offered.

Once you've selected your resort and the trip is booked, your agent's job is to make everything go as smoothly as possible. From booking the wedding day, time and location to confirming with vendors and acting as a liaison with the resort, you can be assured that every detail will be taken care of.

Your agent will manage your group, organize all documentation and look after any other tasks that may (and usually do) come up. Throughout your planning process, agent’s work together with the Wedding Coordinators at your resort, right up until you arrive for your wedding!

"Agent’s are here to take on the stress of the bride and groom, so that all they need to do is look forward to the most special day of their lives!"
