As a bride you know what you need to do to prepare for your wedding day – but does your groom understand what he must do? Preparing a groom’s to-do list will let your husband-to-be know exactly what needs to be done and when it must happen. This is especially helpful for those who are prone to procrastination. The groom must assist the bride in planning the wedding and should be available to visit venues, taste menus, check out bakeries, talk to florists, and review photographers.

One of the most common reasons that brides and grooms argue over the wedding is because they haven’t talked about the type of wedding they both picture. It’s important to discuss your ideal wedding so that you can both come to an agreement on many of the decisions you’ll need to make. Most grooms are happy to do what is expected – as long as they know what it is. Use this to-do list as a guideline. Tailor it for your specific needs and provide a copy to your groom. Update the list with dates once you have chosen your wedding date. With this list in hand, your groom will be ready and able to step up to the plate and complete everything he needs to do to make your celebration special.
