When it comes to the honeymoon, every couple has their own idea of fun. Some couples prefer to relax on a beach while others may enjoy a more adventurous trip. If you’re the adventurous type there is no better time to try a new experience than on your honeymoon. It will be the best trip of your life and one you’re going to remember forever. If you enjoy living on the edge, why not try taking an adventure honeymoon. Here are some top ideas or think of your own great trip.

If you both like to hike consider taking a hiking honeymoon. You can hike in almost any park or location in the world. Choose a place that has great scenery and that has trails that match your skill level. You won’t have any fun if you try to push yourselves too far. Instead, research well in advance so you can have an enjoyable trip.

Whitewater Rafting Trips
Whitewater rafting is both exciting and exhilarating. This is a fun trip that can be done in several different places at different times of the year. Rafting the rapids is fun but takes some strength and endurance. You’ll want to be prepared physically by taking some fitness classes before you go on your trip.

Snorkeling or Scuba Diving
A great way to have fun in the sun is by snorkeling or scuba diving. If you’re new to scuba diving you can often take some classes ahead of time to get certified. Scuba diving can be done in a variety of exotic places and you’ll be able to see a large variety of sea life.

Winter snow trips are perfect for honeymoons. Snowshoeing in the back country is a fun adventure vacation idea. Snowshoeing can be done in a number of different places such as parks and mountain areas. Research the location ahead of time to be sure that the area is safe for snowshoeing.

Back Country Skiing
Like snowshoeing, back country skiing is exhilarating. You can see some places that nobody else has ever been. You need to be a good skier for this vacation – take lessons and plan ahead if you want to have a safe trip.

Race Car Driving
Take a racecar driving course together. There are a couple of places where you can register for these short courses – usually a few days to a week in length. During the class you’ll learn how to drive a high performance race car and get to actually drive it around the track!
